Detox diets are making news as the quickest, easiest way to shed pounds, boost your energy, and get yourself on a wellness track. Popular in the 1970s, cleansing fasts are again all the rage among celebrities like Gisele Bundchen, Gwyneth Paltrow, Stella McCartney, and Madonna.

Looking to lose a few pounds and sick of the typical weight loss methods, why not include some of these diets ? Although they sound pretty farfetched, you can actually reach your target weight by following the below diets:

Chocolate Diet- This diet mainly consists of liquids, along with a powder or supplement to be blended with milk or water. Also available in pill form, the actual pills provide various nutritional benefits such as a boost in metabolism. These, along with a healthy diet are supposed to stimulate the fat burning process and pave the way towards weight loss.

The Sardine Diet - A high-fiber, reduced-calorie nutritional plan that guides you through eating a large quantity of Omega-3 essential fatty acids.

Cookie Diet- You heard it right! Eat cookies for your meals, and drop the pounds off fast. Tabasco Diet- Take a shot of Tabasco sauce before each meal (if you can handle it!) Tabasco sauce can increase metabolism and fat-burning ability by up to 25%.

Master Cleanser- The name says it all. Mix together lemon or lime juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and warm purified water, and you have the recipe for weight loss.
